Where do we row?

Lake Whatcom, about a 20 minute drive from Westerns Campus.

What if I don't have a car?

Other rowers will carpool together and pick you up.

Is there a cost to joining?

We do enforce dues each quarter for our members. It is annually $600 to be on the team, with $100 due in fall, $200 due in winter, and $300 due in Spring. 

How many races do we have in the season?

Currently, we have one race in fall, winter is a training quarter, and we have 5 races in Spring. one in California, one in Oregon, two in Seattle, and one in Tennessee.

What time is practice?

Practice is at 4:30am Monday through Friday, and goes until about 6:30-7am. Then we have a later start practice Saturdays at 7am that goes until 9, sometimes 10am.

Do I have to be a former rower to join?

No! Most of our rowers are first time rowers starting in college, but we do have a good amount of former high school rowers as well.
